For over 30 years I have been providing both Mid Canterbury and South Canterbury with comprehensive, accurate, independent and professional property valuation advice. Whether buying, selling, renewing a lease, looking at bank lending or insurance, I can help with a professional and experienced property valuation.

I started in the industry in 1992 attending Lincoln College graduating with a degree in Land and Property Management. I then held positions in the Valuations Department of “QV” in Timaru followed by a three year roll with Ashburton District Council as Property Manager. Subsequently, I spent 10 years as Branch Manager of Wrightson’s Real-Estate Ashburton and Timaru.

During these years my valuation practice was active for clients in Mid Canterbury and South Canterbury and numerous farm transactions were concluded.

Some of the farm sales ended as Subdivisions where I oversaw the residential and industrial developments of Coniston, ADC Industrial Park, Jordon Ave and Nuffield Drive. I am now a hands on independent advisor on subdivisions to Canterbury property developers.

CRT/Farmlands required real estate expertise in later years and this evolved into a position at Property Brokers where I currently reside and run my private valuation practice from.

Alongside my Subdivision Consultancy, I predominantly value Residential Properties and Lifestyle Blocks between Twizel, Waimate, Methven, Rakaia, Ashburton and Timaru. I also do property valuations on Construction and 'Off the Plans' projects. I am currently personally involved in subdivisions in Omarama and Sheffield.

I have particular pride in completing these valuations for clients on time, which helps with finance confirmation and insurance in the ever changing world of replacing assets. Rent reviews are included where appropriate.

I am appointed to the Crown as a High Country Assessor and I'm an accredited Valocity and Corelogic (ValEx) Valuer.

My recent interests have included positions on the Mid Canterbury Rugby Union, Ashburton Racing Club, Ashburton Licencing Trust (now BRCT), Lion Foundation and in recent times a board member of NZLTA.

I live with my wife Jane at Lake Hood, Ashburton and have three grown children who have all left home.
